Digitized book pages, stories, proverbs and essays become language-modelling data — the raw text that teaches large language models to read, write and reason in your language, tone marks and all.
Voice & transcripts → speech AI
Recordings paired with transcripts train speech recognition (ASR) that hears your accent and text-to-speech (TTS) that answers in a voice that sounds like home.
Sentence pairs → translation
Every dialect sentence with its English beside it is machine-translation (MT) training data — the bridge that lets your grandmother’s words reach the world, and the world reach her.
All of it ships as one open, dialect-labelled, CC BY 4.0 dataset — free for any researcher or builder, credited to the people who gave it.

Every approved contribution is licensed CC BY 4.0 the moment it's accepted, with your exact consent recorded. Nobody can enclose or resell it — not even us.
Dialect-first
Nothing here is just “Yoruba.” It is Ìjẹ̀bú Yoruba, or Standard Yoruba. Your variety is a first-class label on every sentence and every second of audio.
Everyone is welcome
Majority and minority alike — from Yoruba's tens of millions to Po Tangle, Waja, Tera, Zaar and Tula, carried by a few hills in Gombe. The smaller the language, the more every sentence counts. If your variety isn't listed, propose it and we'll add it together.
